Advanced Structural Dynamic Optimization of PETRA IV Girders at DESY

As part of this research project, new design concepts of various girder assembly set-ups for the new PETRA IV 3D X-ray microscope at DESY are to be developed. Through the collaborative cooperation with HAW Hamburg, new scientific findings are to be developed and the limits of product development will be expanded.

The novelty of the approach is particularly noteworthy with regard to the use of new structure optimization algorithms to develop improved structures for the PETRA IV 3D X-ray microscope.
