Learning module - learning and understanding

In this project, a video-based interactive online learning module “From Curie to CMS - tracking down ionizing radiation” is being developed, with which pupils can optimally prepare themselves for the experiments on radioactivity before their visit to the DESY school laboratory. The aim is to spark interest in the subject matter, improve understanding of the interrelationships and make the visit to the DESY school laboratory a lasting experience: Experiment - Learn - Understand - Inspire.

The learning module is provided for use on the freely usable learning environment www.viamint.de of HAW Hamburg. It consists of didactically prepared learning sequences in which short explanatory videos alternate with interactive elements, for example illustrative applets and exercises, with immediate feedback to the learner.
